NORBLACK NORWHITE is a design house and cultural platform inspired by handcrafted Indian textiles. They are committed to reinterpreting the stereotypes around a contemporary India. Raised in Toronto by way of Indian immigrant families, the duo behind NBNW moved to India in 2010 with the intention to explore age-old practices of Indian textile design, which eventually lead them to create a platform for expression and colour. NORBLACK NORWHITE is committed to prioritizing stories of women of colour while touring the politics and grey space of aesthetic, identity, and diversity of culture through visual forms.Â
